FAQ’s

  • How do you install the angle fence post trim? The angled fence post trim simply slides down the length of the fence post in the grove provide. It can be trimmed if needed to suit the height that the post is sitting above ground. The composite fence board then slides into the groove on the trim as you would with the standard fence posts. It is important to allow at least 6mm gap for the fence planks to expand within the trims so they do not butt the planks tight at either end within the trims.
  • What angle can be made using the trims? The trims come in two set angle 135° and 157.5° but by using them in different slots within the fence posts it then allows you to make different angles of fence line coming off the main fence post. Note that there is also a further 3° tolerance that can be achieved from the boards.
  • Does the angled trim come as part of the fence kit or the fence post kit?No, the angled trims are a separate item that are only required for project that incorporate different angled fence lines and so needs to be purchased separately.
